CONSTRUCTION OF THE KAMA MULTIDISCIPLINARY HOSPITAL NO. 5

CONSTRUCTION OF THE KAMA MULTIDISCIPLINARY HOSPITAL NO. 5

The Kama Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 5 is the largest medical project in Naberezhnye Chelny, with an estimated cost of 6 billion rubles. Annually, 25-26 thousand patients pass through its inpatient department, while the number of outpatient visits reaches 70 thousand. The current hospital is located in an adapted building — a former dormitory — which does not meet modern requirements. City Hospital No. 5 serves 11 districts of the republic — it is not just a city hospital, but an inter-district clinic, vital for 1 million 300 thousand people across the entire Kama region. Design work began back in 2021. A land plot of six hectares has been allocated for the new facility — between the "Adymnar" school and the racetrack. Active work is underway with the Ministry of Health on the design, taking into account all modern requirements. After moving to the new building, the hospital will receive the status of Kama Multidisciplinary Hospital. A percutaneous coronary intervention center for patients with myocardial infarction and angina will be established there, equipped with modern equipment. Emergency care will be provided to residents of the northeastern district of Chelny and nearby cities. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marcel Minnullin, described the project as follows: "This is a magnificent project! It will be a very good multidisciplinary hospital with specific tasks. Even elements of high-tech care will also be present there."

MAJOR REPAIR OF SCHOOL NO. 45

MAJOR REPAIR OF SCHOOL NO. 45

School No. 45 with in-depth study of individual subjects is one of the largest educational institutions in the 40th microdistrict. It educates 1,200 schoolchildren and employs 51 teachers. This year, the school celebrates its 40th anniversary, and the current repair has become the first large-scale renovation in the building's entire history. The decision to carry out repairs was made following numerous appeals from residents of the 40th microdistrict. A deputy of the State Council of Tatarstan, Ruslan Nigmatulin, reported: "After numerous appeals from residents, a solution was found. Along with funding." Earlier, complaints about a leaking roof and other building problems had been posted on social media. The total cost of the major repairs is over 328.2 million rubles. The main expenses, more than 222.5 million rubles, will be directed towards updating the engineering networks. Renovation of facades and the roof is also planned. The customer is Glavstroy of Tatarstan. The work is divided into several stages: while one building is being renovated, classes continue in other blocks of the school — the educational process does not stop. The repairs are planned to be completed by the new academic year. Mayor Nail Magdeev personally visited the facility and outlined the scale of the problem: "In Naberezhnye Chelny, there are another 16 schools and 58 kindergartens that need repairs. All schools and kindergartens built in the 70s and 80s have fallen into such a condition. We will discuss this issue with the republic's leadership." Funds for the repairs were allocated with the support of the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.

Construction of a Volleyball Center and a New Ice Palace

Construction of a Volleyball Center and a New Ice Palace

In the near future, Naberezhnye Chelny will be enriched with two new sports facilities. At a meeting of the final board, the Minister of Sports of Tatarstan, Vladimir Leonov, confirmed: "We are discussing the construction of a volleyball center and another ice palace." According to him, the city will receive both facilities during the celebration of the 400th anniversary of the city and the 50th anniversary of the release of the first KAMAZ truck. The Volleyball Center will be located in the 36th complex. The project, previously successfully implemented in Buinsk, received approval from the state expert review back in 2023. It will be a two-story building with an area of over 4,000 square meters. Inside, there will be three volleyball courts, mini-football and basketball courts, a gym, and a spectator hall. The construction cost is estimated at 500 million rubles, and funding sources are currently being worked out. The new Ice Palace is planned to be built in the densely populated Zamelekesye microdistrict with the support of the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. Mayor Nail Magdeev stated that the project is being implemented together with a deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and five-time Gagarin Cup winner, Danis Zaripov — "we want more children to be involved in figure skating and hockey." Simultaneously, 103 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget for major repairs of the existing Ice Palace of the "Chelny" sports school in the ZYaB settlement. The work includes roof repairs, finishing, and general construction work. Completion is scheduled for December 1, 2026.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE SARA SADYKOVA CONCERT HALL

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE SARA SADYKOVA CONCERT HALL

The Sara Sadykova Concert Hall was opened in 1988. Its area is nearly 2,000 square meters, with 766 seats. No major repairs have been carried out since its foundation — for 37 years. At the beginning of 2026, the hall was closed for major repairs: curtains have been removed, furniture has been dismantled, and interior demolition has begun. The original project will be refined according to the wishes of the institution's director. 298.5 million rubles have been allocated from the republican budget for the renovation of the concert hall. The customer is the State Budgetary Institution "Glavstroy of the Republic of Tatarstan." Mayor Nail Magdeev emphasized the importance of the facility: "This is the main concert venue in our city. There is no need to delay the renovation. We need to ensure that the facility is operational by the beginning of the tour season, by the beginning of autumn." Completion of all work and the opening of the renovated hall are scheduled for December 2026.
